Stashfy is a budgeting app provided by Hamza Wasim (“we”, “us”). This policy explains how information is handled when you use Stashfy or contact us.

Your budget stays on your device

Stashfy stores the name you enter, onboarding answers, personal commitment, budget categories, income, expenses, savings entries, goals, notes and preferences in the app’s local storage. These details are used to create and display your budget. Our app does not send these budgeting records or onboarding answers to our servers or to Superwall.

Stashfy currently uses manual entry. It does not connect to bank accounts, move money or require an app account. It does not provide its own cloud sync. Your device’s backup services may include app data, depending on your Apple settings.

The app also keeps a limited local record of onboarding screen visits and completion to support diagnostics. These records do not contain your name, answers, financial amounts or notes and are not transmitted by the app.

Subscriptions and app usage

Apple handles App Store payments. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple and our subscription provider, Superwall, process purchase and subscription information to deliver the offer, verify access, restore purchases and handle subscription events such as renewals and refunds.

Superwall also processes an app-generated identifier, device and app information, language/region information, network information such as an IP address, and events such as app sessions, paywall views, interactions and purchase attempts. We use this information to operate memberships, diagnose problems and understand how our offers perform. It is separate from your locally stored budget.

This website

When you visit these pages, our hosting providers (OpenAI Sites and its infrastructure providers) process network and browser information, such as your IP address and the page requested, to serve and protect the website. We do not add advertising trackers or optional analytics scripts to these pages.

Support messages

If you contact us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use it to respond and resolve your request. Please do not send bank credentials, payment card details or unnecessary financial records.

How we use and share information

We use information to provide the app and its subscriptions, respond to support requests, improve reliability, prevent misuse and meet applicable legal obligations. Service providers process information as needed to perform those functions. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect legitimate rights, or in connection with a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell your personal information. Stashfy does not contain third-party advertising or send your budget entries to advertising networks.

Storage and retention

Local records remain on your device until you edit or delete them or delete the app. Offloading the app may preserve its data. Device backups are controlled separately through your Apple settings. Deleting Stashfy does not cancel an App Store subscription or erase transaction records held by Apple or Superwall.

We retain support and subscription-related records for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve requests and disputes, prevent misuse, and meet legal or accounting obligations. We then delete or de-identify them where appropriate. Information processed by service providers may be stored outside your country, including in the United States.

Your choices and rights

You can edit and delete individual financial entries in Stashfy. To remove the app’s local data, delete the app from your device rather than offloading it. Manage backups separately if you want to remove backed-up copies. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account’s subscription settings.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of information held about you, or to object to or restrict certain uses. Contact us using the address below to make a request. We may need to verify it. We cannot retrieve budget records stored only on your device. You may also have the right to contact your local data-protection authority.

Where applicable, our reasons for processing include providing the service you request, legitimate interests in operating and improving it, complying with legal obligations, and consent where required.

Children

Stashfy is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Keep your device, Apple account and backups protected.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the app changes. The date above identifies the latest revision; we will provide additional notice where required.
